Ariana Fraschetti is a Masters student in the Biomedical Engineering program at the Faculty of Engineering.

"For me, art is a spiritual and creative practice that is a sort of getaway from ordinary life. Through painting especially, I am able to let go of my thoughts during those moments I lose my sense of self in concentration. Thus, it has become a form of therapy that I will always cherish. Moreover, every piece of art I create carries behind it the intention to nourish the part of myself that wants to learn, grow, and love. Most of my work is realism paintings, often based on photographs I took during memorable experiences or ideas I come across online."
